Exceptional, Compassionate Care, Close to Home
If you need surgery, it’s good to know you can count on Providence Regional Medical Center for the best possible, most compassionate care around. In fact, every year, more than 11,000 of your friends and neighbors trust their surgery to us here at Providence Regional. We offer state-of-the-art technology, innovative treatment models and an excellent surgical staff for your inpatient or outpatient surgical procedures.
The lines continue to blur between surgery and interventional procedures (minimally invasive procedures using needles, catheters and lasers and often guided by live X-ray or CT images). In 2011, Providence Regional Medical Center combined four previously separate clinical units – surgery, interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs – together on one floor at our Colby Campus, thus ushering in an entirely new way of providing surgical and interventional services to the region.
In addition, we feature state-of-the-art surgical technology – the da Vinci® robotic-assisted surgical system, an effective alternative to traditional open surgery.
