Volunteer at Sacred Heart

Making Life Better

For a few hours a week, you can be part of a world-class team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital through its volunteer program.

This is a place where medical miracles happen every day … and where leading-edge research is translated into extraordinary care for patients and their families.

Providence is also a place where healing occurs, not only by medical and surgical intervention, but by the touch of a hand, a shared smile, a listening ear, a prayer or a knowing wink. It’s a place where you can make a difference through your acts of kindness, making life better for you and for those you help! See below for a wide range of volunteer activities to choose from.

Wendy is one of the volunteers from the Spokane Association of Realtors who staff the Children’s Clubhouse at Sacred Heart. Linda is one of many Spokane hospital volunteers who offers her musical talents in the main lobby, providing a soothing atmosphere for guests. “Bingo Ring” was a popular live TV game show that entertained patients for many years at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
