Women's Health Center Mammogram Coach

If you’re age 40 or older, getting a mammogram breast cancer screening exam should be part of your yearly routine. The Women’s Health Center Coach makes these screenings convenient by bringing them right to your neighborhood or work place.

The Coach travels to businesses, community centers, retirement communities and rural physician offices, offering:

  • Mammography screenings
  • Osteoporosis (bone density) screenings
  • Personalized, one-on-one education

Womens_Health_Mammogram_1No woman is refused mammography services on the Coach for lack of ability to pay. For women without insurance, we provide connections to community programs with follow-up health care services.

Mammography screening

On the Coach, mammograms are performed in a private room where a technologist will ensure that you are able to have the best possible pictures. You’ll also receive instructions on how to perform breast self-exam and learn about the importance of annual clinical exams as well.

Mammograms are “read” by a radiologist at Inland Imaging, LLC who will contact your physician with your results. If you don’t have a regular physician or if you need further tests, the Women’s Health Center Coach staff can assist you or make a referral.
