Providence Gives Back to Our Communities
In 2012, Providence provided nearly $50 million in uncompensated care for the residents of Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties. This investment includes $16.7 million in free and reduced care for those in need and $21.8 million in the difference between the cost in providing services to people insured by the government and the amount the government pays for this care.
