We're Here to Take Care of You
The SEIU strike at Providence St. Peter Hospital ended Saturday, March 16th at approximately 10 am. We respectfully welcome our striking employees back to work. We remain ready to continue negotiations as soon as the federal mediator indicates that SEIU is ready and sets a date. We thank our many physicians, registered nurses, volunteers and all of our working employees for their care and support of our patients during the strike. Our normal patient census and surgery schedule was not affected by the strike. Patients continued to receive excellent care. For more information visit www.providencefacts.org
A “Magnet” Hospital Means Excellence in Nursing Care
We're also proud to be a “Magnet®” recognized hospital. The Magnet Recognition Program® recognizes the top health care organizations in the nation for providing nursing excellence. Only two other hospitals in Washington State, the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, have garnered this top honor.
