For Adults

The Staff of the Providence Hospice Bereavement Department is dedicated to providing knowledgeable, caring, and relevant grief support and education. We facilitate several opportunities for support. All services are available at no charge.

Individual Support: Short-term grief support and education is available to individuals and families following the death of a significant person.

Support Groups: Support groups offer an opportunity to meet with trained facilitators and other individuals who have experienced a loss.

Drop-In Groups (No Registration Required)

  • Newly Bereaved Workshop (an introduction to common grief reactions in adults)
    3rd Thursday of every month; 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

  • Everett Spouse Loss Drop-In
    2nd & 4th Thursdays, 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

Loss-Specific Support Groups (Registration Required)

We have a variety of loss-specific support groups throughout the year. Please contact our office for more information about current and upcoming offerings. 

Annual Events

  • Grief and the Holidays Workshop: Provides practical information about how to care for yourself and your family during this special and potentially challenging time of year. 

  • Memorial Services: Open to individuals and families looking to celebrate and honor the lives of those who have died.
