Spokane, WA—Every three years, Providence Health Care conducts a comprehensive community health assessment. In early 2012, Providence began a new cycle, working in collaboration with the Spokane Regional Health District and the Empire Health Foundation to evaluate and prioritize current health care needs in Spokane County, and look for collaborative opportunities to improve the health of those we serve.
The assessment brought together more than 70 organizations and community experts to review health indicators, selecting key areas. Join us as we introduce vested organizational leaders and community health experts offering possible solutions and ways to work together to solve health issues in our community.
Our next free public forum, "Diabetes and Obesity" will be held May 10 at the CenterPlace Event Center.Panel members include:
