Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic Moves to Everett Community College

May 20, 2013

On Monday, June 10, Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic (PEHC) will welcome patients to its new location at 930 North Broadway, on the Everett Community College (EvCC) campus. The new clinic is located on the first floor of recently opened Liberty Hall.

“With this expanded facility, we will have a total of 20 exam rooms,” says Marcia Wharton, MD, PEHC medical director. The new clinic is designed for efficient patient flow and has the additional space to develop new patient programs such as small group education classes for parenting and shared medical appointments for diabetic patients. It also serves as a training venue for healthcare staff and providers including Nurse Practitioners from the University of Washington’s School of Nursing.

“The expansion means we will be able to do more of what we currently do in providing care to the poor and vulnerable, which is our Providence mission,” Dr. Wharton says. “We welcome all patients to our clinic whether insured or uninsured and continue to offer a sliding scale payment plan for our uninsured patients.”

The new location is convenient for EvCC students who need access to same-day care. It is easily accessible for existing patients with a designated parking lot and plenty of handicap parking. It is also in close proximity to a major bus line.
