Providence Opens Second Spokane Urgent Care Clinic

June 24, 2013
Join us for an Open House, celebrating the opening of our new Spokane, WA Urgent Care Clinic on Division Street.

Spokane, WA—Providence Medical Group is expanding its urgent care services to Spokane’s south side. Providence Urgent Care – South Division, located at 421 S. Division, opens July 1.

Members of the community are invited to preview the new Spokane Urgent Care Clinic during a Community Health Fair and Open House, Thursday, June 27, 1-3 p.m. The event will include CPR and MyChart (electronic medical record) demonstrations, a digital diagnostic display and visits with an AMR Ambulance team.

Providence Medical Group’s newest urgent care clinic is part of its commitment to make care more convenient, accessible and affordable. Providence Urgent Care – Hawthorne, located at 551 East Hawthorne on Spokane’s north side, opened a year ago. A third clinic, at Providence Medical Park in Spokane Valley, is under construction and expected to open early next year.

Providence Urgent Care clinics provide patients prompt medical care for minor illnesses or injury without an appointment. Physicians are able to address most urgent health care needs, providing care for patients requiring prompt medical attention that does not pose an immediate, serious health threat.

Conditions appropriately treated at urgent care clinics include:

  • illnesses such as colds, the flu, ear infections, sore throats, migraines and fever; and
  • minor injuries including lacerations, minor burns, sprains and simple fractures.

However, anyone experiencing very serious or life threatening condition should go to the closest emergency room.

Providence Urgent Care clinics are open daily 8 a.m.– 8 p.m., seven days a week. Walk-in appointments are available. Both clinics have on-site X-ray and provide routine lab work.
