New neurologist and radiation oncologist join Providence

Providence Medical Group in Walla Walla welcomed a neurologist and a radiation oncologist in August.
Matthew Robertson, MD
Dr. Matthew Robertson is a neurologist and sleep specialist. He has a special interest in multiple sclerosis, migraine headaches, and sleep disorders including narcolepsy, parasomnias and REM behavior disorder.
“I pride myself on providing compassionate, effective and state of the art care across all aspects of general Neurology and Sleep Medicine,” he says. “I try to involve the patient in the clinical decision-making process so they can better understand the disease or ailment they are suffering from.”
Dr. Robertson received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, MN; performed his internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC, and his fellowship at Stanford University Hospital in Redwood City, CA.

Kristen O’Donnell, MD
Dr. Kristen O’Donnell is a radiation oncologist. She joined in practice Dr. Bryce Lord at the Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center.
Dr. O’Donnell specializes in the use of multiple radiation technologies to treat cancer.
“My goal is to provide the Walla Walla region with cutting-edge radiation technologies to optimize radiation treatment effectiveness and limit side-effects,” she says. “I treat all types of cancer and some benign conditions.”
Dr. O’Donnell received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, and performed her internship at Providence Portland Medical Center. Her residency was at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
