Nurse of the Year Recipients Announced

May 08, 2015

The Providence Regional Medical Center “Nurse of the Year” awards were held this week as part of the annual Nurses Week celebration. Nurses were nominated for awards in five different categories: Mentoring, Rising Star, Patient/Clinical Care, Nurse Innovator and Spirit of Nursing.

The nominations were “blinded” (all identifying information removed) and then reviewed by a panel of nurses that included leadership, nursing governance and staff nurses.
