Affectionately referred to as "The Mount"

WA_Seattle_ProvidenceMountStVincent_SeniorCare_PhotoFrame_2_flatThe Mount is a vibrant, elegant and innovative living care community for older adults that celebrates life, living and individual capability and is owned and operated by the Sisters of Providence and Providence Health & Services. As a resident, you will be treated with dignity and respect and empowered to work hand in hand with our staff to develop a plan of care that supports you, fits your lifestyle and honors your preferences.

The Mount is home to more than 400 older adults and others who need some type of assistance with their daily living or are in need of 24-hour care. Our residents enjoy supportive activities, programs and therapies to help them remain physically and mentally active as well as socially and spiritually engaged.

We are also "home away from home" to 125 infants and young children enrolled in our Intergenerational Learning Center, a licensed child care center open to the community and employees. Five days a week, the children have opportunities to interact with our residents in planned activities such as music, art and storytelling.

Our community includes:

  • Assisted living program that empowers the residents to make her or his choices for daily living and emphasizes dignity and respect for all our residents (109 apartments)
  • Skilled nursing in specially designed neighborhoods for 149 residents, based on resident-directed care, individual choice and compassionate care
  • Physical, social, cognitive, and spiritual care for the whole person
