  • Prepares you to teach the Intermediate and Advanced AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Courses.
  • Focus is on the principles of adult learning and their application to AWHONN’s Intermediate Course (formerly FHMPP) workshops.
  • Participants discuss the instructor role and responsibilities, administrative procedures, and content development.

Forget-Me-Not: Perinatal Bereavement

March 16 | September 14

  • Recommended for neonatal and perinatal care providers that work with families who have lost a child in the pre- or post–delivery setting. Learn how to offer compassionate support to address the pregnancy, delivery and postpartum needs of the family. This program is based on a step-by-step care plan comprised of a birth plan, coordination of care, health care system/resources, grief support and impending loss.

Perinatal Clinical Concepts

13.25-hour course

  • Review the co-morbidities of pregnancy such as DIC, diabetes, pre-eclamsia, sepsis, malpresentation and perinatal loss as it pertains to obstetrical clinical care.
