Providence St. Peter Hospital
We're giving back to our communities
In 2016, Providence provided nearly $53.4 million in uncompensated care for the residents of Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties.
This investment includes $6.9 million in free and reduced care for those in need and $37.3 million to pay for the cost of underfunded government programs such as Medicaid. Learn More.
A “magnet” hospital means excellence in nursing care
St. Peter is proud to be a Magnet® recognized hospital. We received our first designation in 2010 and were re-designated for this award in February of 2015. Learn more about nursing at St. Peter Hospital.
The Magnet Recognition Program® recognizes the top health care organizations in the nation for providing nursing excellence. Only two other hospitals in Washington State, the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, have garnered this top honor.
