Women over the age of 40 or older are advised to get an annual mammogram screening for breast cancer. Our skilled technologists and radiologists provide and read screenings. Our breast care team also provides education on how to perform breast self-exam and helps patients understand the importance of annual clinical exams.
Our certified nurse-midwives at Providence provide obstetrics (pregnancy, labor and delivery) and gynecology care for women. They are advanced registered nurse practitioners that have completed an accredited training program and are nationally certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. For high-risk pregnancies, our OB/GYN physicians are available for referral and consultation.
Our compassionate team of skilled obstetricians and gynecologists ensure every woman receives the specialized attention she deserves. From adolescence through childbirth and menopause, each stage of a woman’s life requires special medical attention, including pregnancy care, obstetrics, infertility treatment, continence care and gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotically assisted surgery.
Physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, also called physiatrists, are nerve, muscle and bone experts who treat health issues that affect body movement. Our goal is to make patients feel better and be able to live well each day by restoring function that’s been lost due to injury, illness or a disabling condition.
Our team of sleep experts diagnoses and treats sleep disorders and provides a wide range of sleep services for conditions including insomnia and sleep apnea which, left untreated, can lead to a number of medical problems. Our experience shows that most people can significantly improve their quality of sleep and life through a variety of treatment options.
