High Risk Breast and Ovarian Cancer

Who is considered at risk of breast or ovarian cancer?

  • Women and men who carry genetic mutations that increase their risk of breast cancer.
  • Women with a strong family history of breast cancer.
  • Women who have had radiation therapy between the ages of 10 and 30 (e.g., Hodgkin's lymphoma)

Providence High Risk Breast and Ovarian Cancer Program offers ongoing screenings and preventative care which includes regular clinical breast exams, mammograms and breast MRIs. We also will discuss mastectomy options if necessary.

Talk to your provider about a referral to the Providence High Risk and Ovarian Cancer Program. You only may require a one-time consultation. If you need more care, we will work closely with your provider to develop an ongoing preventative plan.
