Your Dollars at Work

Continuing the Philanthropic Mission of the Sisters of Providence

By contributing to your Foundation, you help care for the most vulnerable in our community, as well as support breakthrough technology that saves lives.

In 2018, the Foundation awarded a record $11.7 million to our six Providence hospitals in Spokane and Stevens counties.

Thanks to you:

  • The RISE behavioral health program is bridging the gap in our community's mental health services.
  • St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute has a new pediatric therapy gym.
  • "Ella the Echo," our new portable echocardiogram machine, is traveling to clinics in outlying areas, which keeps kids who need periodic heart monitoring close to home.
  • More than 100 of our colleagues received assistance from the Employee Help Fund following an unexpected crisis like a fire or medical emergency.
  • DominiCare has provided more than 14,000 hours of care to the elderly and frail in Stevens County.
  • Updated probes and imaging equipment are allowing physicians to perform surgeries more quickly and with increased precision.
  • A new dental residency program will offer care for needy patients with complex dental issues.
