Each day at Providence hospitals in Spokane and Stevens counties, we strive to provide our patients and their families with the very best possible experience.
Beyond our top technology and advanced care techniques, patients describe their stay in terms of the people who cared for them. There are many times when a member of our staff exceeds your expectations, and we are often asked how patients can say thank you to a caregiver or to the hospital.
Our Honor Your Caregiver program gives you this opportunity.
Any patient, friend or family member can make a donation to the Providence Health Care Foundation in honor of a caregiver who made a difference during your stay. Your caregiver will be awarded with a certificate, and if your gift is $250 or more, he or she will receive a lapel pin at a special ceremony and be recognized in our employee newsletter.
When you make a gift, you are not only bringing to light your caregiver’s kindness, but helping enhance the outstanding level of care our community has come to expect from Providence. Your contribution helps purchase state-of-the-art equipment, supports innovative clinical education, and provides support to world-class programs, services, research activities and so much more!
Perhaps you already have someone in mind—a physician, nurse, chaplain, housekeeper or a food service worker. Honor your caregiver with a gift today!
"Your Oncology unit was our home around the clock until my wife’s death. Ann, the young lady in charge of the Arts in Healing program, Chaplain Chris and the harpist, Donna, all played a big role in our quality of life over the 13 days we spent there.
My wife Helen was alert, pain-free and laughed and lived life every single moment until the end. Your staff was wonderful!"
