On behalf of everyone at Providence Health Care Foundation, our hearts go out to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We know this is a time of anxiety and uncertainty for many of you as you navigate business and school closures, as well as health concerns.
Providence has cared for our community in many ways and through many crises since the Sisters of Providence arrived in Spokane 135 years ago. We will continue to carry on their legacy of compassion and service. Thank you for supporting our work.
Many of you have reached out asking how you can help.
A gift to our Area of Greatest Need Fund is a great way to make an impact. This unrestricted fund gives us the flexibility to respond quickly to urgent and unforeseen needs during, and after, this critical time.
We anticipate that the Patient Assistance Fund will experience unprecedented demand in the coming months. This fund helps with travel expenses, medications, utility bills, meals and other basic necessities. The families who receive these funds are often the working poor, whose lives have been turned upside down due to an illness.
The Employee HELP Fund assists Providence caregivers during times of financial crisis. Many of our caregivers are already facing hardships within their families as a result the pandemic and may need help paying for extra child care, utilities, rent, etc. Your gift will ease the burden of these caregivers, who are needed on the front lines.
These options are all available on our donation page.
If you are interested in donating medical supplies, equipment or other items, please call 509-474-4917 or send us an email and we will provide you with further direction.
