Keeping Patients Safe By Turning on the Light
Providence Health Care Foundation and Dynamic Collectors, Inc. present Providence Centralia Hospital's Gala Dinner & Auction on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at the Jester Auto Museum and Event Center in Chehalis, WA. Proceeds from this year's event will support the purchase of a TRU-D SmartUVC Robot, an automated disinfection system for Providence Centralia Hospital.
HAIs (hospital-acquired infections) are a rising problem in the healthcare industry. Providence Centralia Hospital is committed to a safer solution to address infections. TRU-D SmartUVC works by destroying germs and bacteria with a safe, effective UV light, enhancing disinfection in a hospital environment and giving patients and staff peace of mind. This innovative technology coupled with current infection control practices kills up to 99.9% of deadly germs such as MRSA, MERS, C. diff, Norovirus and Ebola, providing total room disinfection. The TRU-D SmartUVC Robot has already been implemented in numerous hospitals across the country including; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Duke Health, Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Providence St. Peter Hospital. Providence Centralia Hospital would like to purchase two TRU-D robots to be used in isolation patient rooms on discharge/transfer and circulate them throughout the hospital to the operating rooms.
