There are many ways to support Providence ministries in the southwest Washington region through Providence Health Care Foundation. Gifts can be unrestricted and used for the area of greatest need, or they can be gifts you restrict to a specific ministry, program or purpose.
Here are just a few of the most common ways to support the Providence Mission:
Memorial gifts can be made to remember someone special who has passed away. Gifts can be directed toward any interest of the donor. Memorial gifts can be made “in lieu of flowers” or “in addition to flowers" and these statements are easy to include in an obituary or remembrance.
Honor gifts are used to pay tribute to someone special that you know. Donations are made in the name of the person you are honoring, and if you want us to do so, we will notify the honored person of your gift. Honor gifts can also be made to celebrate a special occasion or an event or just about anything that is important to you.
Typically done in conjunction with estate planning, gifts of this type are an option for people of all income levels. Your planned gifts today support the work of Providence often for many years to come, and may allow you to make larger gifts than you could otherwise have made from your current assets. Our Legacy Club honors those who have made provisions in their will or estate plan such as charitable remainder trusts, charitable gift annuities and bequests that further benefit the Providence Mission in our community.
A great way to support Providence programs is while enjoying a festive social event. The annual PCH fundraiser is the foundation's largest fundraising event and is usually held in the Fall. Funds raised support life-saving medical equipment, compassionate care and mission-driven programs.
The foundation welcomes gifts of stock and real estate. This is a great way to maximize your donation and receive tax benefits. Please call the foundation at 360-827-7940 to talk about these options.
Providence employees support an annual employee giving campaign which raises support for local Providence ministries.
