The best defense is early detection
The Jan Erickson Life Saver Fund is available to women 40 years and older who have no financial resources or insurance to pay for a mammogram
The Jan Erickson Life Saver Fund pays for screening and diagnostic mammography costs for patients in need—significantly increasing the chance of detecting cancer at the earliest, and most survivable, stage. Donations also pay for a bilingual outreach coordinator to educate women on the importance of regular screenings.
More than 170 free mammograms were provided in 2017

Jan Erickson's vision
The Life Saver Fund is dedicated to the memory of Jan Erickson. Despite the fact that Jan received her diagnosis of breast cancer at an advanced stage, she faced her battle with courage, strength and tenacity. Through her experience, Jan focused her energies toward educating women about the importance of early detection.
She also found time to provide support and compassion to women battling the disease. It was Jan's desire to establish a fund to assist women needing early screening mammograms, especially those less fortunate. Jan inspires us to continue fighting against breast cancer.
