Martin Luther King Celebration
Keeping the Dream alive
Hear from Reverend Percy “Happy” Watkins as he delivers the famous “I Have a Dream” speech first heard in 1963 in Washington, DC, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was America’s greatest champion of racial justice and equality. As a nation we celebrate and honor Dr. King and his dream of a country united in justice, peace and values of equality, tolerance, cooperation and sharing. No other day of the year brings so many people from different cultures together in the spirit of brother and sisterhood.
Free. All are welcome. Bring your family, friends and neighbors to this special annual celebration.
