Medical Interests

I am invested in my community--both locally and worldwide--and am drawn to where need is greatest.

I am particularly dedicated to people affected by war, disaster, and exclusion from healthcare. My goal is to demystify medicine, make it accessible, and include my patients in the process. I treat people with dignity, and view them within the context of their lives.
I maintain that access to patient-centered care should be available to everyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, immigration status, income, or lifestyle choices. I believe that healthcare is a right, and I am privileged to provide it.

Personal Interests

Music, travel, animals, nature, water and wilderness, language and poetry.
