Paint the Town
Each year, Providence Centralia Hospital recruits volunteers from the hospital and other local businesses and organizations to paint and repair the homes of Lewis County residents.
This community outreach project has touched the lives of thousands of people in the community. Through 2010, a total of 91 homes have been repaired and painted with the help of thousands of volunteers and local businesses.
Paint the Town applicants must be senior citizens or disabled homeowners who qualify under the low-income criteria of $22,925 for a family of one or $26,200 for a family of two. Applications for the event are due by the end of May each year and the event takes place in September.
If you know of a home that may qualify for the project; or would like to volunteer or donate, contact the Providence Centralia Hospital Foundation office, (360) 807-7942.
