Help us celebrate National Volunteer Recognition Week
Published April 13, 2015
Our Providence volunteers are an integral part of our mission to meet the day-to-day needs of patients, families and staff. Sometimes in the daily rush we may not remember to say "thank you" as much as we would like. That's why National Volunteer Recognition Week, celebrated April 12-18, is a great opportunity to stop, introduce yourself and thank these amazing individuals for giving of their time and talents selflessly each and every day.
Did you know that our 800 volunteers donate their time at Colby and Pacific, Pavilion for Women & Children, Providence Regional Cancer Partnership, Broadway, Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic and Providence Medical Group? That's a lot, which is why we are so grateful for their dedication to our ministry and communities!
National Volunteer Recognition Week embodies the energy and power volunteers evoke on a daily basis as they lead by example – not only encouraging the people they help but also motivating others to serve as well. Together, let's show our volunteers how much we appreciate their service by saying "thank you."
