Introducing TeleTracking: New bed management and patient-tracking system

On Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 0600 we go live with our new bed management and patient-tracking system provided by Teletracking. We are excited to be working with Teletracking and look forward to all that it is able to provide in easing the way of our patients and staff at PRMCE.
This new technology will help Providence move our patients through our complex system with greater ease—a goal of reducing a patient’s average length of stay to 4.1 days. This new system has unique functionality to automatically notify our EVS Team when a patient has been discharged and to provide transparency on where all patients are in their discharge milestones.
It will give our bed-control team the patient’s medical information, enabling them to place the patient in the right bed the first time. It will provide our caregivers more time to do what they do best—meeting the needs of our patients.
Scheduled Teletracking Down Time:
August 25th 0500-0600, you will be asked to contact the Patient Transport lead phone number, x83066, for all patient or equipment transport needs.
Go-Live Command Center:
