Kronos attestation forms no longer required to report missed meal and rest breaks
Publisjed March 23, 2015
HR received feedback from caregivers about how time consuming it can be to complete the paperwork needed to record a missed meal or break — so they’ve responded. Kronos attestation forms will no longer be required to document missed meal and rest breaks effective Sunday, March 22. The catch? Caregivers must be sure to properly clock out of Kronos.
The revised process to record missed meal or rest breaks will automatically appear when a caregiver selects “End of Shift” while clocking out of Kronos. Please see this instruction sheet to learn more.
We recognize missed punches or other adjustments will need to be made in Kronos from time to time. Two new Missed Punch Forms (Current Period Time Correction Sheet and the Prior Pay Cycle Time Correction Sheet) will be available on Employee Self-Service (ESS) in Lawson for reporting missed punches or corrections. Remember, these forms are not necessary if caregivers properly clock out of Kronos!
Thank you for adopting this change toward the goal of increased efficiencies for caregivers, timekeepers and leaders, and to ensure caregivers are paid appropriately for any missed meal and rest breaks.
If you have questions about the new process, please talk with your manager or contact Human Resources.
