Pink the Rink raises over $91,000 for to support breast health services
Published November 2, 2015
This year’s Pink the Rink was a huge success! Over $91,000 was raised to support free mammograms and other breast health services for women in our region at the Providence Comprehensive Breast Center. Six breast cancer survivors were honored on the ice at the pre-game starting lineup, and survivors and doctors competed in an intermission shoot-out to raise breast cancer awareness. With thanks to The Safeway Foundation, who donated $50,000, the Everett Silvertips, and all the fans and supporters who attended, we will continue in the fight against breast cancer.
