Charmien White is the first NWR caregiver to achieve Risk Adjustment Coder certification
Published November 2, 2015
Help us congratulate Charmien White for receiving her certification for risk adjustment coder. This is a nationally recognized coding certification with a focus on understanding diagnosis coding on risk adjustment payment models and Charmien is the first person in our region to achieve this certification.
“Having a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder in NWR is a huge benefit for our patients! As a CRC, Charm ensures we are accurately accounting for the disease burden of our patients. This provides us with the revenue needed to deliver the right care for our patients with higher medical, behavioral and social needs through programs like PMG’s STARCare (care management) and Behavioral Health Integration programs,” says Kristie Putnam, Regional Director, Accountable Care & Transformation, NWR.
