The OB Triage Unit is a short stay triage area that provides assessment and testing for patients. Patients who check in to the Triage Unit will be cared for by a nurse who will monitor the patient’s contractions and the baby’s heart rate.

After the nurse’s assessment of the patient, their provider will be notified. The patient will then either be admitted to the Labor and Delivery unit or be discharged with instructions on what to do if symptoms return or worsen.

Our OB Triage area is staffed twenty-four hours a day to meet the needs of our pregnant patients. We work in tandem with multiple obstetrical practices including Obstetricians, Family Practice, and midwives to provide the best care possible for all patients.
