Do you have Osteopathic Recognition through the ACGME?
Yes, we received ACGME osteopathic recognition in 2016.
Do you have Osteopathic Certified Faculty?
Yes, please see our Faculty and Residents page for faculty details.
Do we have a "minimum score" for eligibility?
We do NOT have a minimum score requirement but we are a highly competitive program and have students with high scores applying.
Please see our minimum requirements page for our score requirements.
All scores must be received before the application deadline. Please be aware that it can take up to 6 weeks for scores to be released from USMLE and/or COMLEX.
Do you require osteopathic applicants to take the USMLE steps?
We do NOT require osteopathic applicants to take the USMLE steps.
Are we a competitive program?
We are a very competitive. We receive approximately 1000 applications each year for our seven positions.
Can I apply through the osteopathic match or must I apply through the allopathic match?
We require that ALL applicants, allopathic and osteopathic, apply through the allopathic match (ERAS and NRMP).
What kind of OMM Training do you provide?
Monthly OMM outpatient clinics where a dedicated resident and Osteopathic faculty see patients in conjunction for a one-on-one teaching experience
Monthly OMM outpatient didactics and hands-on lab
Dedicated OMM room with OMM Hi-Lo table
Exposure to alternative therapies including a core faculty doing acupuncture
Do you have Osteopathic Medical School Affiliation?
Yes, we are affiliated with Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington.

Do I have to submit a family medicine letter of recommendation?
Yes you must submit a letter of recommendation from a Family Medicine Physician with which you have rotated.
Please be aware that ERAS only allows for 4 LORs to be uploaded. One of those must be from a Family Medicine Physician. We do not accept application materials outside of ERAS.
