Donate and Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of Providence. If you are interested in volunteering at one of our facilities we would love to have you.

Providence Centralia Hospital and Providence St. Peter Hospital host a variety of support groups throughout the month. Contact names are listed for each specific support group.

Volunteer opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. The Volunteer Department strives to assign volunteers to areas that match both the interests of the volunteer and hospital department needs. Opportunities frequently change. Our volunteers must be able to commit to a minimum of a 3-4 hour shift each week for a minimum of six months on the same day and time every week.

  • If you are currently 16 years or older, please download the volunteer placement questionnaire. There are also questionnaires available in the hospital at the Main Hospital Lobby Information Desk.

Paint the Town

Each year, Providence Centralia Hospital recruits volunteers from the hospital and other local businesses and organizations to paint and repair the homes of Lewis County residents. This community outreach project has touched the lives of thousands of people in the community.

Paint the Town applicants must be senior citizens or disabled homeowners who qualify under the low-income criteria. Applications for the event are due by the end of May each year and the event takes place in September.

If you know of a home that may qualify for the project; or would like to volunteer or donate, contact the Providence Centralia Hospital Foundation office, 360-807-7942.
