Our Services

  • Neurosurgery

Neurosurgery is the surgical treatment of problems of the nervous system. In addition to the brain diseases that most people associate with the field, neurosurgeons treat back and neck pain, spinal arthritis and herniated discs, spinal fractures and injuries.
  • Brain Tumor Treatment

Providence provides the diagnosis and treatment of malignant and non-malignant brain tumors. Each of our surgeons brings to the practice years of training and experience in all types of primary, metastatic and pituitary tumors, and knowledge of the latest, most advanced treatment modalities.
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Treatment

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a painful progressive condition caused by compression of a key nerve in the wrist. It occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist. Symptoms usually start gradually, with pain, weakness, or numbness in the hand and wrist, radiating up the arm.
  • Cranial Disorders

Providence treats a broad scope of cranial disorders, including cysts, Chiari malformations, vascular malformations, acoustic neuromas, trigeminal neuralgia, and acquired and normal pressure hydrocephalus.
  • Joint Replacement

When a joint is so severely damaged by disease or injury, a joint replacement may be considered.
  • Stroke Program

A stroke is condition where the blood flow to the brain is restricted. When a stroke occurs, the patient's brain does not receive adequate blood supply. Blood carries oxygen to the brain, and if the brain does not receive enough oxygen, portions of the brain will be damaged, causing paralysis, vision or language problems and possibly death.
  • Spine Program

Providence Spine Program specializes in comprehensive screening, diagnosis and treatment of recent neck, back and spine injuries, as well as unresolved neurological and/or neurosurgical disorders of the back, neck or spine.
