Established in 1947, Providence Holy Family Hospital embodies the core values of compassion, dignity, justice, excellence, and integrity, which were inspired by the Sisters of Providence. Our mission is deeply rooted in the Catholic tradition, reflecting the healing ministry of Jesus, and upholding the values of respect, compassion, competence, collaboration, and justice.

Today, Providence Holy Family Hospital in north Spokane County is a pillar of the community, providing a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, as well as specialized support and outpatient care. With over 1,000 employees and more than 180 physicians spanning various medical specialties, we proudly rank among the largest 25 employers in Spokane County. Our dedication to serving the community is exemplified by our commitment to community outreach, where we actively promote community health through education, engagement in neighborhood issues, various projects, and events.

Community Ministry Board of Directors

The community ministry board of directors is responsible for the oversight of Providence ministries dedicated to eastern Washington. Our diverse and dedicated board members work with unwavering compassion, paying special attention to those in our community who are marginalized or facing economic challenges.
