Providence Medical Group’s Midwifery Services were originally established solely to provide maternity care for underprivileged women. Today, our team of nurse midwives serves a growing number of expectant moms seeking the supportive, low-intervention childbirth philosophy we practice. The Certified Nurse Midwives of Providence Medical Group provide both well-woman care and Midwifery Childbirth Services (pregnancy, labor and delivery).
The midwives are registered nurses, have completed an accredited training program and are nationally certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. For backup and support with complicated obstetric cases, our midwives work closely with the medical doctors of Providence Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the maternal fetal medicine staff at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
