New Practitioner Orientation
New Practitioner Orientation is encouraged prior to beginning practice at Providence, but is required within the first 3 months of your credentialing. Each session gives you the opportunity to become familiar with the Providence culture and practices including the chance to actively participate in training to facilitate a baseline level of education for all practitioners as we evolve into a High Reliability Organization.
Your photo for your badge will be taken during this session, so please be prepared for a headshot photo to be taken.
Epic training is a separate requirement from New Provider Orientation. Epic proficiency must be demonstrated prior to having access to Epic.
Orientation in is the 1st Thursday of every month from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Medical Office Building on the Colby Campus. From 12 pm to 3 pm you will complete your High Reliability Toolbox for Everyone class.
DIRECTIONS: From the Parking Garage entrance on 13th street, just take the SOUTH skybridge across to the Medical Office Building. The red brick building on the left into which you enter is the Medical Office Building. Proceed down the stairs, turn left, and the meeting rooms are down the hallway.
