Pharmacy Residency Program

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett (PRMCE)

At PRMCE, we are dedicated to the organization’s mission: to improve the health of everyone in our communities, especially the poor and vulnerable through our core values of Compassion, Justice, Excellence, Respect and Stewardship. Through our PGY-1 Residency Program, you will have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to be an acute-care pharmacist by benefiting from our distinctive training program that takes advantage of a wide variety of rotations and learning experiences.

The program focuses extensively on acute-care pharmacy practice and you will practice in a variety of hospital environments. The resident will be able to staff independently in all areas and also precept students and interns through our affiliations with both the University of Washington and Washington State Schools of Pharmacy. In addition to teaching, you will have opportunities to participate in quality assurance projects, patient safety initiatives and analyze and present information. The goal is for the resident to develop into a mature, clinically confident clinician that proactively advocates for their patients.
