Information for Patients

Whether you’re here for day surgery, you’re having a baby or you’re recovering from a major illness, we’ll make your stay as comfortable, safe and pleasant as possible. We’re your personal health care team. You can ask us for help, support or information – whenever you need it.

We provide a range of services and amenities for patients and visitors:

  • Free wireless Internet access
  • Room-service-style meals
  • Support groups and classes

If you’re coming to Providence Regional Medical Center for a scheduled procedure, your doctor’s staff will likely give you specific instructions on what to bring.

General items to bring for an overnight stay
  • Photo ID and insurance card
  • Co-payment (if required by your insurance plan)
  • Full list of medications with dosages (including over-the-counter supplements)
  • List of allergies (foods, medications, etc.)
  • Copy of your advance directives
  • Pajamas, robe, slippers
  • Toiletries

Please leave medications and valuables at home. Providence Regional Medical Center is not responsible for lost items.
