Community benefit investments are one way Providence lives its Mission. For generations, we’ve offered a caring hand to those with the greatest need in our community.
In 2017, we devoted more than $141 million in community benefit to make sustainable improvements in the health of our communities throughout Spokane and Stevens counties.
Community Benefit is the measurable contribution made by Providence to improve the overall health and well-being of our local communities, with particular concern for the poor and vulnerable persons. This helps us carry out our Mission to reveal God's love for all. We focus on efforts to demonstrate collaboration while maintaining a standardization provided by the federal government.
We conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment every three years to help determine areas to focus our efforts. If you feel that your organizations has a project that would benefit from our Community Benefit Funds and is in line with our Mission, Needs Assessment and Plan, please review the guidelines and submit an application.
