Visitors can be good medicine for patients. Family members and friends alike are welcome to visit. However, patient care is our primary concern. We recommend visitors stick to regular visiting hours: 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Certain care areas may have different visiting hours. In the best interest of your loved one, please adhere to visiting hours and follow our guidelines. If you have questions, please ask the nurse on your unit.
When you visit, please follow these guidelines:
Parents of pediatric patients are welcome to remain with their child outside of normal visiting hours. We have fold-up beds available if you want to stay overnight.
There are visitor lounges on each patient floor and on Level Two. There are specific waiting areas for families of patients in the intensive care unit, emergency department, ambulatory surgery, imaging and the Family Birth Center.
Please check with a nurse before bringing food or drink to a patient. Some food and drink can be detrimental to recovery or could interact with medications. Food, fresh flowers and live plants aren’t allowed in the intensive care unit.
