The Spiritual Care Department is dedicated to the respect of the individual regardless of beliefs, faith tradition, culture or spiritual journey. We strive to provide healing spiritual care and compassionate spiritual support for the whole person (mind, body, and spirit).
The Providence St. Peter Hospital Chapel is open between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. and welcome all for prayer, meditation or quiet time. The chapel is located on the second floor north and provided a peaceful setting that is a haven for all. If a family member would like to enter the chapel after closing hours please contact security. For a current schedule of Catholic and Ecumenical Services please call the Spiritual Care Department.

Our care coordinators and social workers provide free counseling and assistance to patients and their families during hospital stay. Care coordinators can help with plans for going home or to another facility. They also can help arrange for home health, transportation or medical equipment in the home.
Social workers provide brief counseling services and are available to help with housing and financial issues. They also can provide information on public assistance, Social Security benefits, legal advice, support groups and drug/alcohol counseling.
