Stroke Prevention and Recovery: Get the Facts

Spokane WA—In honor of stroke awareness month, stroke experts from Providence Spokane Neuroscience Institute, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute and Inland Imaging are sharing stroke prevention messages and rehabilitation therapies. Four free community events will raise awareness through education, screenings and resources.

Tuesday, May 14 | Talk with Doc – Elizabeth Walz, MD

Elizabeth Walz, M.D., neurologist with Providence Spokane Neurosciences Institute and Providence Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disorders Clinic, answers your questions about strokes through a Facebook Live event

Thursday, May 16 | Community forum and health screening

Alicia Hegie, PsyD, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute and Patrick McNally, former Providence and St. Luke’s patient will present at “STROKE AWARENESS – Life and Beautiful Pieces: Strategies for Striving after Stroke”
