Providence St. Peter Foundation new board members, honors retirees

Olympia, Wash.--Providence St. Peter Foundation has elected three new members to its board of directors. New members include Mark Naubert, Jennifer Valdenegro, and J. Mark Wagner, M.D. Each will serve a three year term.

Mark Naubert started Washington Data Storage, later renamed Washington Archives Management, which grew into the largest independent archive company in the Pacific Northwest. He recently sold this business and currently owns and operates Allwest Moving and Storage.

Jennifer Valdenegro holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from Oregon State. She is currently Acting Executive Director of The Stars Foundation of Thurston County. Ms. Valdenegro began her involvement with Providence as a volunteer tree designer through the annual Christmas Forest, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in this November.

J. Mark Wagner, M.D. has been the president of Olympia Anesthesia Associates since 1999. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and completed his anesthesia residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Wagner has been a member of many professional organizations including the American Medical Association and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Honoring Retirees

Retiring from the board after a combined 53 years of service are Peter Fleutsch, Fred Goldberg and James Reus, M.D.

In the last three years, the foundation has distributed more than $4.8 million to local Providence ministries including St. Peter Hospital, SoundHomeCare and Hospice and Mother Joseph Care Center. With the help of a generous community, Providence St. Peter Hospital will celebrate the opening of a new Critical Care Unit in October 2012.
