Spokane, WA—Providence Occupational Medicine has added a third clinic location in the Spokane area with expanded services for injured workers. The new clinic, located at Providence Medical Park in Spokane Valley on 16528 E. Desmet Court, opened this month.
The clinic offers patients and employers in the region integrated services specifically designed to provide injured workers with convenient access to the care they need, helping ensure a speedy recovery and return to work.
The clinic is operated in collaboration with St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, offering occupational rehabilitation and outpatient therapy services on site. In addition, the program is supported by Providence Urgent Care, Family and Internal Medicine, and Orthopedics – along with imaging services and a pharmacy – all located within the medical park.
“The Spokane Valley location helps support the needs of employers and workers who work in industrial facilities throughout the Valley area,” says John Smith, Providence Occupational Medicine Program Director. “With the addition of this clinic location, we are now able to provide convenient access to multiple services located in one facility, and in close proximity to the industrial hub of eastern Washington and north Idaho,” he adds.
Like the other two Providence Occupational Medicine clinic locations (near Spokane’s downtown at 421 S. Division St. and on Spokane’s north side at 551 E. Hawthorne Rd.), the clinic offers:
- Injury treatment and management;
- Industrial rehabilitation, massage therapy and occupational therapy; and
- Employer services including substance testing, Department of Transportation physicals, hearing conservation, pulmonary function and respirator fit testing, pre-employment physicals, and fit for duty exams, among others.
Providence Occupational Medicine is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
