Adult Day Program

Adult day programs provide a supportive and stimulating environment for older adults and others who would benefit from extra care, activities, and social stimulation. Social opportunities include exercise, gardening, arts and crafts, cooking, games, music, guest speakers, field trips, and celebrations.

Seniors gardeningSeniors come to the facility to receive outpatient services like physical therapy and also attend activities and opportunities for socializing. Services are provided in a safe, nurturing and friendly atmosphere. All participants receive a hot, nutritious lunch with accommodations made for any health-related dietary needs.

Providence also provides supervised daytime care of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, support groups for caregivers, and more.

The Providence adult day program's primary goal is to help participants:

  • Function at the highest level of independence possible
  • Adapt, relearn or retain skills
  • Remain physically active, regardless of mobility status
  • Receive needed health services
  • Socialize and make new friends
  • Have fun!
