At Providence, we understand cancer impacts the entire family. Our support reaches far beyond your child’s medical care. Our multidisciplinary team – including oncologists, specialty-trained nurses, pharmacists, social workers, child life therapists, dietitians and many others – rally around your family to meet physical and emotional needs during and after treatment.
Providence provides expert, specialty care for hemophilia, thrombosis and other blood disorders. From careful management plans to prevent complications to education and support, we’re here when you need us.
Children with brain tumors benefit from our team of specialists, led by a pediatric oncologist, neurologist and often a radiation oncologist and pediatric neurosurgeon. This team works together to create a personalized treatment plan for your child.
We offer a multidisciplinary team approach to a child’s care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs that arise during and after treatment. Specialty services include: nutritionists, pharmacists, on-site teachers, a variety of therapists (physical, speech and respiratory) and others as needed. We also offer sibling support, social workers, chaplain services and child life specialists to ease the difficult transitions from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
