Survivorship Program

As you near the end of active treatment, you will enter a new phase in cancer care focusing on survivorship. Our goal is to make this transition as easy as possible and help you achieve your best quality of life going forward.

You may have questions or concerns after completing treatment. Providence is here to help guide you through this process by providing you with information, answering questions and directing you to appropriate resources.

Common questions or concerns at the end of treatment involve topics such as:

  • Long-term side effects
  • Emotional concerns
  • Financial issues
  • Fear of recurrence
  • Information and resources for cancer survivors include
  • Information sessions facilitated by survivorship experts
  • Support groups for survivors and family members
  • Educational series with topics including exercise and nutrition, medication management and quality of life issues
  • Events to celebrate and connect with other survivors

Survivor resources are often low- or no-cost thanks to Providence Foundations. Please let your provider know if you are interested in survivorship services so we can help connect you with available local resources as you near the completion of your treatment.
