Ready to Quit Tobacco? We Can Help

You’ve heard it before: Quitting tobacco use is one of the best things you can do for your overall health. Maybe you’ve been thinking about it for a while. Maybe you’ve even tried to quit before, without success. If you’re ready to try again, this time can be different.

When You’re Ready, We’re Ready

When you’re ready to quit Providence can help you with the American Lung Association’s Freedom From Smoking© program., This program has a proven track record in helping people break free and say goodbye to smoking. In two short months you can be tobacco free.

We Have Everything You Need to be Successful

As part of the program, we provide information, motivation and resources. Research suggests that any quitting method is more successful with group support classes, so we include those, too!

We Can Tell You Where You Stand

If you’ve been smoking for a long time, you may be wondering about the health of your lungs right now, even if you’re ready to quit. Providence offers a low-cost Lung Cancer Screening exam that lets you know where you stand. The low-dose CT scan takes high-resolution pictures of the lungs, allowing detection of abnormal nodules within the lungs, long before they can be detected by traditional x-ray. The scan can reduce mortality due to lung cancer by finding it at its earliest stages, when it is most treatable, and offers the highest probability for a cure.

For more information on our Lung Cancer Screening, call 425-297-LUNG.
