Get on your feet and add years to your life! All you need is a goal, a plan and a whole lot of support. Join the Providence Heart to Start program and train to run or walk a 5K this year!
Free Training Program
Our free, 12-week gradual training program led by cardiac and rehabilitation experts begins March 21 at 6 p.m. with a community talk at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. Following the community presentation, you can work out on your own, or join our workouts every Tuesday evening, 6-7 p.m. through June (click here for a complete list of training session dates) at a local track. Each training includes a short talk, warm-up, and gently-increasing intervals of activity.
